Student Giving Day

Chalkboard list of programs students choose to support

One Day. One Wolfpack. One Extraordinary Purpose.

March 27 | 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Stafford Commons

For the third year in a row, Students for University Advancement is celebrating YOU: NC State’s student donors.

Across NC State, philanthropy enhances so much of the student experiences, from Hunt and Hill Libraries to clubs and organizations, from research opportunities to study abroad — and that’s just the beginning. When the Pack comes together, we can’t be stopped.

Being a part of the Wolfpack isn’t just for four years; it’s for life. When you give back, you’re ensuring the next generation of students have the same extraordinary opportunities.

There are hundreds of funds to campus to support, so pick your passion and give to what you love. And with student giving challenges and challenge funds available on NC State Day of Giving, this is the perfect time to maximize the impact of your gift!

Be sure to visit us March 27th on Stafford Commons to pick up your donor swag and celebrate what it means to be #GivingPack.

#GivingPack

For one day, we're one Wolfpack.

Why do you give to NC State?

Rosalynn Phan '19

"Giving back is the least I can do to share my appreciation for all NC State University has given me. It's all about the culture of being thankful for today and cultivating a culture of giving for tomorrow. Today, I am an undergraduate student on a college-student budget, so I donate my time, my voice, and whatever I can afford financially to student philanthropy. The hope is that, in the future, I can do even more."

"I had been the recipient of a scholarship from the Department of English my sophomore year, but it wasn’t until I worked as a student fundraiser that I understood the multiplicity of ways that giving back really does support the pack. Ultimately, giving back means that NC State can grow to be one of the best public research schools in the nation while individually supporting the students that help to make the pack so strong."

"NC State has provided me with numerous opportunities to grow and develop into the person I want to become. Through financial aid and private giving, I have been able to utilize the resources that NC State provides. Without the gifts that I have received from the university, I would not be the person that I am today. I give in order to provide these same opportunities for future students at
NC State."

Abby Verchick '19

"NC State has given me so many opportunities that have enriched my life for the better. I want to ensure that this university can continue to do groundbreaking research, provide incredible opportunities, and extraordinary experiences to students for years to come. My parents, both alums, continue to be role models for me as their time at NC State left such a profound impact on them that they find it essential to give back to NC State."
