Engineering Foundation Creates Young Alumni Advisory Board
In an effort to help engage younger NC State College of Engineering alumni in their relationship with their alma mater and provide an opportunity for them to connect with one another, the Engineering Foundation has created the Young Alumni Advisory Board (YAAB). This group of 18 young professionals represents various engineering disciplines from NC State classes of 2003 and later.
With a degree from Wilson College of Textiles -- and a knack for timing -- Park Scholar and Centennial Scholar alumna Jasmine Flood has developed a career as a successful entrepreneur. She founded Riada Adair, a company that creates stationery, lettering, accessories and public art.
Bringing Others Along. From his days as an RA and student body president, to his investment in the Caldwell Fellows, Tony Caravano has always believed in the NC State community.
Young Engineering Alumna Gives Back
Brooke Wages, who graduated from NC State in 2013 with a degree in mechanical engineering, has given $15,000 to support the College of Engineering's Minority Engineering Programs, which made a major impact on her student career.
