Division of Academic and Student Affairs Sets Gift Total Record on Day of Giving

The Division of Academic and Student Affairs raised more than $500,000 through 2,558 gifts, the most cumulative gifts the division has earned in Day of Giving history.

A Record-Breaking Day of Giving for the College of Natural Resources

Wolfpack supporters around the world showed their commitment to helping the College of Natural Resources build a more sustainable future by donating a record number of gifts to it on NC State’s sixth annual Day of Giving.

College of Education Sets Record for Gifts Received on Day of Giving

On NC State’s sixth Day of Giving, donors created five new College of Education scholarships and made 992 gifts, the most the college has ever received on the day. Additionally, for the third year in a row, the college won the Faculty and Staff Giving Challenge.

Record Number of Donors Supports Libraries on 2024 Day of Giving

Donors bolstered the Libraries’ support of student success and affordable education with 336 gifts on NC State’s sixth annual Day of Giving — a 46% increase from last year’s previous-record total — totaling more than $1.8 million.

CCEE Receives a Record 333 Gifts Totaling $195,641 on Day of Giving

NC State held its sixth annual Day of Giving on March 20, with the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) topping the College of Engineering Leaderboard with 333 gifts totaling $195,641. The department also received $10,700 from the CCEE Advisory Board for completing a match challenge of 200 gifts.

Student Media Raises $7,400 on Day of Giving

NC State Student Media, made up of seven student-run media outlets, raised more than $7,400 from 51 donations during NC State’s 2024 Day of Giving.

Join the Park Scholarships Program for Service Raleigh 2024

Service Raleigh is an annual citywide day of service started in 1998 by NC State’s Student Government and members of the Park Scholarships program. This year, the event will be held on April 6 following a special kickoff at the Talley Student Union at 8 a.m.

A Passion for Conservation Led Gabby Landry to NC State

Gabby Landry is a senior majoring in fisheries, wildlife and conservation biology in the College of Natural Resources. She is also an inaugural member of the James Buzzard Leadership Development Program, which is designed to build leadership skills through a variety of hands-on experiences with current leaders in a variety of fields. The program was initiated through a generous donation from James “Jim” Buzzard, an alumnus of the College of Natural Resources and the former president of MeadWestvaco.

Boutique Eco Bouldering Gym to Open in Durham Central Park This Fall

NC State alumnus Johnny Davis actively participated in entrepreneurship programming during his time on campus, including the Miller Fellows, and worked as a technical assistant in the Entrepreneurship Garage. Now, he is launching a new sustainable climbing destination in Durham that will help encourage a culture of wellness and companionship among the city’s busy residents.
