Generous Grants from SECU Foundation Bolster 4-H, FFA Camps

The North Carolina State Employees’ Credit Union Foundation has awarded $50,000 in grants to ease the extreme financial impact of a missed season of summer camp on NC State Extension’s Millstone 4-H Camp and the North Carolina FFA Center.

The Shows Must Go On

For decades, countless North Carolina 4-H members have found livestock shows and horse judging contests to be highlights of their year. This spring was no different – except for the presence of a pandemic. The work done by NC State Extension, NC State's Department of Animal Science and others to ensure that these important traditions continued drew national notice. Many donors support vital 4-H programs, including alumni Walter F. and Lee D. Teeter of Mount Ulla.
