Your Campaign Update

Learn more about how we are preparing for an extraordinary future, thanks to our Pack.

August is always an exciting time at NC State, as a new academic year begins and a new class of thinkers and doers begins to find its place in the Pack.

These students will study at Fitts-Woolard Hall, make breakthroughs at Wilson College of Textiles, conduct research at the Plant Sciences Building, enjoy activities at the Wellness and Recreation Center, watch athletics events in the James T. Valvano Arenaand hear real bells ring from the Memorial Belltower. They will learn from professors who are at the leading edge of their fields, thanks to resources from endowed faculty positions.

We’ve welcomed larger undergraduate classes while increasing the percentage of students receiving private support, thanks to hundreds of new scholarships and fellowships created in the past few years. With the Student Emergency Fund, we are better prepared to support those who encounter unforeseen situations that may otherwise derail an education. And scholars who enroll at NC State from military families or after serving in the military will find resources through Military and Veteran Services’ enhancement fund.

These changes reflect the incredible strides we have made because of the nearly 88,000 donors who joined together in supporting the Think and Do the Extraordinary Campaign and its $1.6 billion goal. Over the past fiscal year, you helped us raise $220 million in private support, investing in students, faculty, researchers, extension efforts and campus facilities, pushing us ever closer to our Campaign goal. Below are just a few highlights of how philanthropy impacted NC State this year.

We are so proud of these successes and what we can accomplish together. We aren’t done yet. As we move toward an even bolder future, we are grateful you are with us.
