CNR Student Spotlight: Jacob Veilleuxm
Jacob Veilleux, a University Scholar and a fisheries, wildlife and conservation biology major, interned with the with the Illinois River Biological Station in Havana, Illinois, studying Smallmouth Buffalo, the largest commercial fish in the state. His extraordinary NC State experience has been supported by the Ron and Dale Terry Student Assistance and Enrichment Fund and the Hope Valley Forest Scholarship.
Owens Honored with Menscer Cup
The NC State University Foundation presented its highest honor to Dr. Jim Owens, a three-time alumnus and the immediate past chair of the university’s Board of Trustees, earlier this month.

CNR Student Spotlight: Logan Kallam
Environmental sciences and plant biology double major Logan Kallam studied abroad in Sweden, Germany and the Czech Republic, an experience that challenged him to think more critically about his use of natural resources and natural resource management on a global scale. His eye-opening trip was supported by the Ron and Dale Terry Student Assistance and Enrichment Fund.
