Jimmy D. Clark, P.E., is owner and president of Guy M. Turner Inc., one of the largest privately owned crane, rigging and heavy or specialized transportation companies. A 1974 College of Engineering graduate, he serves as the first vice chair of the NC State Board of Trustees and is a current member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. He previously sat on the Engineering Foundation Board of Directors and was also the chair of the Board of Visitors.
He is a member of the Peele Lifetime Giving Society and a lifetime member of both the Alumni Association and the Student Aid Association, and he established the Jimmy D. Clark Distinguished Professorship in the Department of Civil Engineering. He is the recipient of the 2012 NC State College of Engineering Distinguished Engineering Alumnus award and the 2016 North Carolina Outstanding Engineer of the Year award from the North Carolina Society of Engineers.
Jimmy and Vickie Clark are co-chairs of the Campaign for NC State.
