The innovative services and accessible collections of the Libraries contribute directly to NC State’s teaching, learning, research and outreach activities.
The campaign will raise $10 million for initiatives that support students and faculty. The Libraries will renovate space to provide a technology-rich environment for both collaborative and quiet study; expand collections for teaching and research; advance and exploit the technology necessary to support the next-generation digital library; and increase its competitiveness in recruiting and retaining superior library faculty.
The Libraries has identified five priority areas to address in order to achieve greatness:
- Improving and expanding library space
- Outstanding collections and services
- Digital library leadership
- Leaders of the profession
- Unrestricted support for emerging priorities
