The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is at the heart of NC State, and is fundamental to the success of the university's strategic plan.

Every undergraduate comes through our classes, and over 4,100 undergraduates are enrolled in CHASS majors. Our tradition of excellence supports and enhances NC State's position as a first class land-grant university and our graduates are making a difference in business, education, and in the professions, in North Carolina, across the United States and around the world.

Building on the college's strong foundations in research and teaching, the Achieve! campaign will raise $12 million to help ensure that all our students enjoy the best of liberal arts education and graduate ready to meet the challenges of a global world.

Priority will be given to funding:

• Undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships
• Faculty support and enrichment
• Program support for study abroad and undergraduate research
• Our MFA in Creative Writing
