With the completion of the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center in 2006, NC State graduates will have a place to call home. The Park Alumni Center will be elegant, inviting, accessible and outfitted with the latest technology. It’s a place where alumni will come to celebrate important events in their own lives and in the life of the university. From the donor plaza to the grand reception hall, the Park Alumni Center will allow alumni to build a future that remembers the past.
The $20-million-dollar Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center offers:
- An elegant foyer, grand staircase, grand reception area and terrace for university gatherings, weddings or other functions that require a touch of grandeur
- Meeting rooms where alumni can gather to exchange ideas and plan for the future
- A bar and grill area for relaxed gatherings after work or before games
- Space on the second floor for the chancellor to entertain distinguished alumni and visitors from higher education, industry and government
- A special boardroom for meetings of the NC State Board of Trustees, the Board of Visitors and the Alumni Association Board of Directors
- A satellite office for the Park Scholarship Program
- Third-floor offices for the Alumni Association staff where they can serve alumni through expanded programming and membership growth
