Flexible annual funds such as those that will be raised through the Achieve! campaign allow for investment in newly-emerging, promising opportunities, such as a collaboration with a prominent national partner on a high-profile research project. They also help the university meet unforeseen challenges that could derail our progress and help spur economic development where it is needed to keep our momentum going.
Having sufficient financial capital to deal with any eventuality will also directly affect NC State’s ability to rank high among top schools — allowing us to continue to attract new investments, the very best students and first-rate faculty.
