Lectra Privilege Partner Gift

Lectra, the world’s leading provider of integrated technology solutions for the fashion industry, chose NC State University’s College of Textiles to be a part of its Privilege education programs. NC State joins four of the country’s foremost fashion schools, Parsons, the Fashion Institute of Technology, Florida State University and Central Michigan University as a Privilege partner. Lectra gifted approximately $10 million of state-of-the-art CAD software to the College. As today’s fashion and textile designers and developers increasingly rely on 2- and 3D CAD tools to enhance the design process and get products to market faster, this gift will allow NC State to continue recruiting and educating tomorrow’s fashion designers today.
