Named for the benefactor who donated the sixty-two acres of land that serves as the site of NC State University, Mr. Pullen, according to legend, laid out the original boundaries with his plow and mule.
The Pullen Society, created in 1993, recognizes alumni and friends of NC State who invest in the future of the University through any type of deferred gifts. The value and type of deferred gift may also qualify the donor for induction into one of the six cumulative Lifetime Giving Societies.
