Arts NC State
Old Friend. New Face.
From John Bratton (’44) dancing with Ava Gardner to Smedes York (’63) practicing basketball to Kimberly Titmus Przybyl (’92) providing piano accompaniment for Fiddler on the Roof, fond memories spill forth from the 83-year-old Frank Thompson Building.
Momentous Achievement - ARTS NC State
The Gregg Endowment provided more than $760,000 to support the Gregg Museum of Art and Design, named in memory of John and Nancy Gregg (’84). The gift supports the Gregg’s textile initiatives, including the purchase of artwork, the funding of Gregg-curated and traveling textile exhibitions, the conservation of art, the funding of specialty part-time staff, and guest speakers in the area of textile design… With the receipt of a recent gift of $750,000 — the largest in the history of ARTS NC STATE — the Athletic Band Endowment has passed the $1 million mark.
